Sweater Weather

Since it actually snowed in Michigan last weekend, and it's suppose to be in the 30's this weekend, I think we can all officially dive into fall (too early to say winter, right?!) I think few things are more seasonally appropriate than sweaters and plaid. They basically go hand in hand. If I could wear a slouchy and over-sized sweater everyday, I would.  This particular sweater is from the 90's and is accented with gold crest buttons and large pockets. Vintage sweaters are the best because there are so many stories that come with them. For me, when I think sweater, I imagine cozying up to a fire after a long day of skiing while enjoying a steaming cup of hot cocoa (picturesque, I know!)  Who knows who loved this sweater, where they wore it or why they let it go. That's just the fun of vintage!  For this season however, I'm really into the over-sized look  that is both comfortable and stylish, plus you can where it styled many ways for different looks! My favorite is with velvet leggings and black booties. Where is your favorite sweater from and why?
