With Halloween just around the corner, I thought a Halloween wishlist would be appropriate! I have to say--I love Halloween. I've already raved about how much I love October, and Halloween is the perfect way to end such a great month. I (not so) secretly wish I could be a kid again just so I could walk around the neighborhoods treat-or-treating with my friends. Some of my fondest childhood memories are my brother and I crouched on the living room floor, way past bedtime, swapping candy that we received that night. However, as I got older and into college, I figured out that Halloween was more about what you wore and who you changed into for the night. The chance to be whoever you want for one night? Of course, it's a huge celebration and frenzy! I typically stay away from the 'sexy costumes' and try to be something a little more original, but I mostly just really like getting into it. This year will be no exception. Celebrating in Ann Arbor and Detroit, it's gotta be good. I have an idea of what I'll be dressing as, incorporating one of my newest thrift find from this weekend, but I don't want to reveal until Saturday the end product!
Here is my Halloween Costume Wish List. Can you guess my theme?:
